An examination is given the impact of Great Britain's National Health Service's (NHS's) infrastructure innovation program. To stimulate investment, forms of public-private partnership (PPP) are being introduced. The authors examine the PFI (Private Finance Initiative) PPP model, a funding mechanism for English hospitals used in England since 1977.
